For our CE, our class had decided to sell "Fun Pack" after much deliberation. These "Fun Pack" consist of snacks such as Oreo, Mamee and jellies. Even though this project may seem simple to many people, but it is the objective of it that really matters. Each of these "Fun PacK" is sold at $2.50 and all the proceeds will go to charitable organisations such as the Family Service Centre and VWOs. During the selling of these "Fun Pack", i have seen a lot of people with different reactions to such fund raising activity, some of them agreed to buy the "Fun Pack" without even asking about the price while others scrutinize the contents of the pack before agreeing to buy. However, the worst got to be the people who bargained even though they are told that it is of a worthy cause. Why are some people so calculative towards doing a charity? The experiences i get from this CE project has really taught me that when we are doing charity we must always put the people we are helping as the main objective if not it would really defeat the purpose of doing so.
