3D Timothy Seow(30)

My class 3D decided to pack and sell 'fun packs' to raise money to donate to a non-profit organization. Despite the fact that the amount earned from selling each pack is rather small, I knew that all the money would be going toward a good cause to help the less fortunate. As a person who does not actively take part in community help, I have realized that we, the more fortunate people, should give back to society and help those who need it. The worst thing that happened to me was being rejected by many people who refuse to purchase the fun pack, despite knowing that all funds would go toward helping others. I have realized that these people focus more on the material worth of each pack and not how much it would help the less fortunate and this is exceptionally disappointing. From this, I learnt that i should help in community more and replace the self-centered me with a more, selfless, caring person.
I do see myself taking part in activities like such in my college days and adulthood as i Have thoroughly enjoyed this experience and would definitely like to offer more help to the less privileged in the future.
